Medium-full bodied. the Montecristo 1935 Edicion Diamente is an excellent example of complex Nicaraguan tobacco. Three different tobaccos from Esteli make up the filler, a Criollo leaf from Ometepe is used for the binder, while the whole thing is wrapped in a silky hybrid leaf grown in Jalapa. Despite being a Nicaraguan puro, this cigar hits you with waved of cocoa, earth, soft pepper and creaminess.
