Today, take a look at the PDR 1878 Dark Roast Café – an offshoot of the 90-rated PDR 1878 Capa Maduro. It comes draped in a dark and enticing Brazilian Maduro wrapper with a bold blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan Criollo leaves underneath. These cigars are slightly sweetened with real cane sugar and have a subtle coffee taste in every puff. They’re rich, aromatic, and clock in at a medium to full-body. The original PDR 1878 Capa Maduro blend was a real winner. I was happy to see this infused version wasn’t overdone. It has distinct coffee flavors but they’re never overpowering. If you’ve been wanting to try a coffee infused blend, PDR is a good place to start.
