The PDR 1878 line of cigars has been one of Abe Flores' most coveted and successful brands for a long time. In 2020, 1878 underwent a rebrand, and from the ashes arose the PDR 1878 Santiago. The cigars are meant to be an homage to Santiago, the city in the Dominican Republic where the majority of their cigar factories reside. The PDR 1878 Santiago Maduro begins with its namesake Maduro wrapper coming out of Mexico. The binder and long-fillers are a mixture of oily Dominican Criollo leaves that add to the savory sweet profile of the cigar. At a price point that won't break the bank.
